We chose to film on red nose day because it will be more convenient as it’s a day for charity work and it’s a time of giving back. Comic relief helps children all over the world from people who suffer from terminal illnesses to poverty.
Filming on this day, helped it give a sense of realism oppose to filming on a field. Before we were going to film on a running track as this was place where most of the filming was going to take place however we found it convenient to film in school as its easier. We chose the school building as our main area to film because of the mise en scene it will create – students will be in their own clothes and they always work collectively in little groups to raise money.

Another reason we filmed on red nose day is that this was the time last year when Naomi was diagnosed with schizophrenia so filming on this particular day shows her growth and maturity.
