Pre Production - David

Location: Our documentary is going to be set in school because we felt that David would act more naturally in a school setting rather than being in a setting that he is unfarmiliar with. In addition, a school setting makes the documentary more realistic because that David is in education at the moment so shooting the documentary in school makes it more believable. The interview is going to be against a blown up picture in a school area with pictures of sixth formers, the reason for this is that this is David's age group so young people can relate to this documentary as well as older teenagers and adults.

Dressing: We want David to dress normally because if we placed him in a suit or other types of clothing, he would feel uncomfortable and this will be reflected to the camera. Instead, we want him to come in his own clothes that he would normally wear on a day out.

We wanted David to wear trainers instead of normal shoes because they are less formal and represent who he really is and that is; a bubbly person who exutes confidence.

David wearing a shirt makes him more classsy and the audience can relate to him even though he is schizophrenic.
