Our documentary is going to be featured on ITV1 because the channel doesn’t have a lot of documentaries so to place it on ITV1 we will gain a bigger audience. ITV1 mainly has special documentaries like “Diana: Story Of A Princess” or “World In Action” which mainly refers to celebrities or a significant event that had an impact on peoples lives.

So to feature our documentary on ITV1 means it will be relevant rather than placing it on Channel Five. Also Channel Five has a series of “Extraordinary People” so it will be similar as our series is called “Special Cases”. Extraordinary people on channel five started in 2005 in the United Kingdom and it follows people with rare, infrequent conditions or “unusual ability”. These conditions vary from rabies to retinal cancer. People who were featured on extraordinary people were:
·        James Holman “blind traveller”
·        Daniel Kish – retinal cancer
·        Ben Underwood – retinal cancer
·        Tom De Witte – bilateral congenital glaucoma
·        Dr. Lawrence Scadden – blind
·        Lucas Murray – blind
·        Kevin Warwick

Channel four is the main channel that features documentaries ranging from various types from rare conditions to special documentaries like “Michael Jackson and Bubbles: The untold story”.
